By using SkillSprout you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The service

SkillSprout is a family task management app for parents and children. Features include task assignment, reward tracking, pet care, and optional CloudKit-based sync across family devices.

Your account

You are responsible for all activity under accounts you create. You agree to:

• Supervise any child profiles created on your device.
• Not share invite codes with people outside your family.
• Not use the app to harass, intimidate, or mistreat children or other users.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source from the app.
• Use the app to store or transmit illegal content.
• Attempt to circumvent the parental gate or in-app purchase mechanisms.
• Use automated means to brute-force invite codes or discover other families’ data.

Content ownership

You retain ownership of data you enter (child names, task names, notes, photos). By using the app, you grant us permission to store that data via Apple’s CloudKit infrastructure on your behalf, solely to provide the service to you.

Disclaimer

SkillSprout is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We make reasonable efforts to keep the service functional but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are not liable for lost data beyond what Apple’s iCloud terms provide.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
